Os dejo la esta Ensalada con rabanitos, zanahoria, manzana y salsa de yogurt y cebollino, como segunda participación en el reto Cooking the Chef, que este mes está dedicado a Anthony Bourdain, y que es un buen acompañamiento para el Sándwich caliente de queso con cebolla caramelizada.

Tengo que decir que no es la ensalada del siglo, aunque entra bien y es ligera de comer. En casa gustó la combinación, y esta receta del chef sí que la repetiré más a menudo.

Ensalada con rabanitos, zanahoria, manzana y salsa de yogurt y cebollino

Ingredientes:

  • 3/4 taza de yogurt natural entero
  • 3 cucharada de aceite de oliva virgen extra
  • 2 cucharada de zumo de limón
  • 1 cucharada de salsa de pescado
  • 3 cucharada de cebollino fresco picado
  • Lechuga (Anthony utiliza una variedad llamada Boston)
  • 3 rabanitos rojos en láminas finas
  • 1 zanahoria grande rallada
  • 1 manzana pelada y cortada en juliana
  • Sal y pimienta negra molida al gusto


Preparación:

  1. En un bol mezclamos el yogurt, el aceite, el zumo de limón, la salsa de pescado y el cebollino. Reservamos.
  2. Lavamos y cortamos las verduras. Las disponemos en una ensaladera y servimos con la salsa en un bol aparte.
  3. Servimos inmediatamente para evitar que se nos oxide la manzana, o también la podemos pasar por un poco de zumo de limón.

  2. ¡¡Hola Aisha!! Pues no será la ensalada del siglo, pero para mi todas las ensaladas lo son, pues me encantan. Las salsas de yogur también me gustan bastante, sobre todo en las ensaladas, le dan un toque refrescante muy bueno. Lo único que suprimiría son los rabanitos, que no me gustan por ese sabor picante que tienen. Besitos.

  5. Me apunto totalmente el aderezo de yogur con la salsa de pescado, supongo que es del tipo nam pla, que es la que uso habitualmente en casa. Me ha enamorado esa idea.
